Scored this DVD the other day in a local pawn shop for just 3 bucks. It's a low-budget thriller made for Showtime about a Miami social worker desperately trying to save a boy from destruction by the street. Yep, we know the story, but it's surprisingly decent and while just one of four, Travolta scores his only writing credit ever on this. The film doesn't hold back with intensity and some of the scenes are a bit heavy. All in all, not a bad one, happy to include it in the collection with a Pinewoods Rating System score of Two & 3/4 Pinewoods, graded as a b-flick....The Horror!!
