SATURDAY NIGHT ON YOUR "CELLULAR"! - 2004 ACTION THRILLER W/ WILLIAM H MACY THE HORROR!

The gorgeous and talented Kim Basinger. What I like to call a "good two-star movie," 2004's Cellular is an exciting action thriller which scores big in most areas, particularly of note are William H Macy's role as a cop (of course, have we come to expect anything less from him?) excellent casting straight across the board and the editing. The film moves at a great brisk pace but not too fast and even though the ending is very predictable, the way it's done is fun and I recommend this movie with a Two Pinewoods rating.....The Horror!!

Cellular Movie Review & Film Summary (2004) | Roger Ebert

"Cellular" stands "Phone Booth" on its head. The 2003 thriller was about a psychopath who threatens Colin Farrell with death if he leaves a Manhattan phone booth. The new one has Chris Evans racing desperately all over Los Angeles as he tries to stay on his cell phone with a woman who says she's been kidnapped.

Cellular (2004)

Cellular is so corny it's even behind its own time. Witness its ostensible tension-making-and-breaking joke, when the villains seek their victim, a good kid named Ryan (Chris Evans), hiding among the crowd at the Santa Monica Pier.

The always great Rick Hoffman
has a hilarious cameo in this as a
