Most Faces fans are probably already aware of the fact that during the time period Rod Stewart was juggling his solo career with The Faces, he frequently took the best material for his solo albums. That left the Faces records with, if you'll pardon me, the ca-ca. Perhaps no other vinyl representation illustrates that more than this 1973 45 single, the A-side a tremendous Geffin-King song "Oh, No Not My Baby." The B-side is indeed a Faces original, credited to Woody, Rod and the late great Ian MacLagen with an additional credit below "Rod & Faces" saying "and "a bottle of Campari" the sheer horror. As to the quality of the tune itself, all I can say is....you be the judge! The Horror!!
THE SHEER HORROR!!
