IN PROCESS: AN "ESCAPE FROM SAN QUENTIN"! - 1957 THRILLER PART OF PRISON 6-PACK - THE HORROR!!

Thanks to a little thing called Millcreek Entertainment, I recently scored a nice little handful of classic prison flicks. The classic Jack Nicholson movie The Last Detail alone is worth the price of admission and the set anchors that with 5 other varied flicks ranging from 1950 to 1972. I will be posting more on this one but for now we turn to Escape From San Quentin, a surprising 1957 entry that has a great script and fast moving story. Some majorly classic locations of LA circa '57, the sheer horror. Thumbs up on this oldie but goody and we'll throw in Two & 3/4 Pinewoods,,,,The Horror!!
Amazingly, I can not find a trailer for this thing ANYWHERE!

His sentence doesn't have long to go, but when fellow convict Roy Gruber plans a breakout and wants pilot Gilbert to help steal a plane and fly them out of the country, splitting $120,000 in stolen money Gruber has hidden, Gilbert goes along, having heard his wife Georgie wants a divorce.
