OF THINGS PERTAINING TO THE "ARMS CONCERT" 1983! - JEFF BECK TURDS DAY WRAPS- THE HORROR!

I've been majorly blessed in some of the concerts I have seen through the years and I count my attendance at the LA Forum stop of this historic and legendary mini-tour. Tell me how this resonates with you- Eric Clapton comes out and does a set, Joe Cocker comes out and does a set with Eric. There is a short intermission then Jeff Beck comes out and does a set with his band. Jimmy Page then takes the stage by himself (at the La Forum show there was a five-minute standing ovation) then performs a classical instrumental before bringing out Paul Rodgers and then they do a set together. How about everybody then joining on stage for Layla and A Little Help From My Friends. Jeff Beck stole the show at both appearances at M.S.G. I was at the 8-9-83 Friday's show and it was the first time I saw Jeff Beck,Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page in concert. Friday's show was also the last time that all 3 Yardbirds Guitarists performed on the same stage together.

This concert is from 12-8-83. I was at the next day's show ,which happened to be the first I ever saw Eric Clapton,Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page in Concert. Eric Clapton was solid,Jeff Beck stole the show and Jimmy Page got the biggest applause.
