THE WHO 1967 & 1968! - 'WHO'S FOR TENNIS?' A LOST ALBUM SHELVED BY THE BAND - THE HORROR!

Who's for Tennis? was a proposed but eventually cancelled 1968 studio album by British rock group The Who.After the release of The Who Sell Out, the band had several ideas for projects to fill the gap before the release of their "rock opera" project (which would later be realized as the 1969 album Tommy), including a live album from the group's 1968 tour, an EP of instrumental compositions, and a studio album. The album was to be made up of tracks from several sources, including some the band's singles that were released in 1967 and 1968, outtakes from The Who Sell Out, and brand new tracks recorded throughout the spring and summer of 1968. Kit Lambert, the group's manager, suggested naming the proposed album Who's For Tennis? and releasing it in July, to coincide with the end of the 1968 Wimbledon Championships. The intended opening track for the album was the song "Glow Girl", recorded in January and February 1968
