Here's one of those that I've turned many a movie lover onto over time - Robert Forster produced
and starred, great acting chemistry between him and Wahlberg and it's nicely shot, funny and a majorly cool road trip story, using my Pinewood Rating System I give the beloved Diamond Men Four, Yes Four Solid Pinewoods....The Horror!!
Diamond Men Movie Review & Film Summary (2002) | Roger Ebert
Robert Forster has a note of gentle sadness in some of his roles, revealing a man who has lived according to a code, not always successfully. Whether that is true of his acting career, I cannot say, but it is often true of his characters.
Diamond Men (2000) - A Review by David Nusair
Diamond Men, made on a budget that would probably cover catering costs on a big summer movie, is far more entertaining than the majority of product Hollywood churns out for one simple reason: It's got two characters that are exceedingly well-developed and interesting, to the point where it hardly matters what the movie is about.
