Pretty cool artwork but it's all downhill from there.
Reviews were not kind to this, Alice's first live album and all for good reasons. I don't think I've ever met a fan that didn't talk about the song selection and the edited-down versions of songs. Almost like let's see how much sh*t we can put in one 40 minute shoe. The album is not without merit but the check marks in production and guitar work can't save it from becoming the "sold out" mess it is. The timing of it's release in
in a way acts as a bridge from his old classic rock stuff to several decades of exploring other sounds and concepts before really settling back into his hard rock roots with '03's The Eyes Of Alice Cooper. I do own this live album but honestly can't remember the last time I put it on...The Horror!!
