DREAD ZEPPELIN 1995! - REVISITING A LITTLE ALBUM CALLED "NO QUARTER POUNDER" - THE HORROR!!

Been a while since we've paid tribute to this great and now infamous (or is it famous?) band. No Quarter Pounder is the Dread's 5th studio album and one of their best. Besides the usual tomfoolery with Zeppelin
covers, the album has the band going even further into quirky music with a great version of Viva Las Vegas, a song called Little Baby Elvis Jackson in which the lyrics comically depict what would have happened had MJ and Lisa Marie had had a child. There is also a version of American Trilogy, the longtime staple song Elvis included in a lot of his 70's shows. Add a funny filler track with Tortelvis calling a psychic phone line and a snappy album-closing instrumental and you have a wonderfully diverse Dread Zep album....The Horror!!

Dread Zeppelin, No Quarter Pounder - Jon Steltenpohl

Although it's hard to believe, Dread Zeppelin is back and bigger than ever. In fact, the boys who brought you "Zeppelin-inna-reggae-style" never really went away. Oh sure, Tortelvis left the band for a bit, and they appeared to drop out of sight and into a disco inferno.
