'83 was a banner year for Oingo Boingo with the
US Festival appearance marking the largest
audience they had played to yet and the release
of their third studio album Good For The Soul.
This excellent album would cap off a first
phase of the band's career as on future releases
the band would redefine their definition of "new wave"
and drop the punk and ska template for more
mainstream waters....The Horror!!
Oingo Boingo - Good for Your Soul (album review ) | Sputnikmusic
Review Summary: Although not one of Oingo Boingo's strongest releases, there is still plenty of excellent music to be found in "Good For Your Soul" One of the group's least acknowledged works (and, currently, their hardest to find, selling upwards from $70), Good For Your Soul features Oingo Boingo in top form.
Official Up
excellent job by a fan who collected the demos and
then put them in the same song order as album
while doing a few sound enhancements as well.
