20/20 was a great new wave band in LA during those explosive first years of the genre. A couple of mid-west boys came out to jump in the pool, ya dig? They formed this band and got signed rather quickly, this is their second album. Like so many other bands at that time, much of this band's local
success was due to airplay on KROQ and the album opener here "Nuclear Boy" was in good rotation for a bit. I saw them several times at The Whisky and the band had this really cool thing where they decked the stage out with tall potted plants, tropical looking like they were just hanging out at the beach or something with their band. One or two attempts at reunions but nothing stuck. Fortunately we have the vinyl records to carry on their vibe and legacy....The Horror!!
