1972 whodunnit with James Garner, pretty cool flick, same year as Doberman Gang so I'm assuming the main dog here is probably one of those 5, possibly the dog that played Dillinger...I mean seriously he does look a lot like him....but then again...The Horror!! In the years between his TV triumphs on in the '50s and , is of unique interest because it offers an early glimpse at the easygoing-detective vibe that made Garner so appealing as Jim Rockford.

I don't know if I can think of a more mild mystery than They Only Kill Their Masters. It's a solid vehicle for James Garner, giving him a lot of leading man stuff to do and a fair amount of internal conflict. But it's so slight, so genial, it doesn't leave much of an impression.
