"TIMECODE" at 15 - Revisiting this innovative experiment in film making, using four different screens at the same time with an ensemble cast improvising from a basic story line and blocked out to the.....THE HORROR!!

In 2000 the brilliant Mike Figgis released this, the 15th
take of a continuously blocked story shot with
digital cameras and a large ensemble cast with
a lot of familiar faces. In doing so, he created the
first film ever that is guaranteed to be a different
movie for each person, because no two people
could ever look at these 4 screens for 90 mins
and look at the same screens the same way.
I say thumbs up, and using my Palm Springs
Rating System give Timecode Four Nice
and Tall Palm Trees. Reco for any film student!!
