One sure way to get your phone to ring at the television
station in 1972 was to program Alice Cooper as the first
episode of a new show. It caused quite a stir
with some networks and stations refusing to
air it or change the order so Alice was last
so the viewers could see the other "mellow"
acts first before turning off their set....The Horror!!
