ROD STEWART & THE FACES 1970! - REVISITING THE SHEER HORROR KNOWN AS "FIRST STEP"

Greetings all - My sincerest apologies for my slowness of speed this weekend, let's rock on with the last Faces post of 3, the black sheep of their discography. This was not a debut album that exactly changed the world, in fact it was mostly swept under the carpet and the US version of Warner Bros they couldn't even get the name right. Already in process under the name Small Faces it was too late to change it and the album cover is one of rock's biggest blunders. So what about the music? Painfully overlooked, this is the Faces at their true beginning, raw and unadulterated in a simple 8-track studio over just a few days and produced excellently. To those yet to navigate the First Step waters, dive in, it's okay to get wet.....The Horror!!
