NUMBER NINE - KISS THE SKY (1998)
"Aren't you tired of getting a lump in your throat every time you hear music that's 25 years old? Let's make some new music!"
"The masks remind us that our minds create our personalities."
"The masks remind us that our minds create our personalities."
Is life truly all suffering as Buddah says or can we truly make our own paradise, and if so, how do we go about doing it? This question is at the core of this deep film about two friends going through a mid-life crisis, played beautifully by William Petersen & Gary Cole. The songs of Leonard Cohen are sprinkled throughout and add the perfect colors to the incredible journey our protagonists embark on. Obscure and hard to find, your best bet is a used DVD or VHS, I don't believe it streams anywhere.
