Revisiting an "AMERICAN PASTIME" by THREE DOG NIGHT, the year is 1976 and there's not much left of the band, will those Three Voices and those Tasteful Tunes pull this album thru or is it really...THE HORROR!!

Okay, dig this- Metaphorically speaking, in 1976
what was left of the Titanic known as Three Dog
Night was now a beat-up worn out dingy floating
aimlessly on the sea. On this last album, the only
band member left was Jimmy Greenspoon and
Chuck was still on heroin and Danny didn't even
bother showing up to the sessions most days and
lead sings on only one song. However, despite
all this CORN-Fusion, I have always stood by
this album and maintained what holds it together
are the great voices and very tasty songs.
The album for many years was not available
digitally but was finally released this year.
EVERYBODY'S A MASTERPIECE - just a
great little tune, positive message, kinda disco
EASY EVIL - nice bluesy number sung by Cory
MELLOW DOWN - Danny's only contribution is a
tune by Andy Fairweather-Low of all people.
SOUTHBOUND - Hoyt Axton tune, groovy baby.
