"31 Days Of BOINGO-Tober"! - So just who the heck is STEVE BARTEK anyways, Why does he look like Fred Flintstone, and what exactly does He have to do with DISNEYLAND, Did he really cover "Born To Be Wild," So Many ?'s, THE HORROR!!

STEVE!
Probably one of the least talked about guitar wonders
out there. Steve's erratic yet precise lead and riff
playing is one of a kind and this UCLA Music
Composition Graduate has been Danny's right
hand man for over 50 soundtracks!
Steve also gets lots of work from TV and movies
but one of his most interesting contributions
has to do with a ride at Disneyland
that only existed for two seasons called
Rocket Rods. Very possibly one of the
biggest theme part flops ever, the ride was
doomed from the get-go when creators tried
to put new cars on an old monorail track.
The computer circuitry inside the new
cars couldn't handle the many changes
in speed and turns and the ride landed up
breaking down every day and eventually closed.
Steve created the music that played as people
entered, stood in line, and exited.
Disney Queue (Born To Be Wild)>
Exit Music (World Of Creativity)
by Steve Bartek. 7-day link.
Front Seat Point Of View video of whole ride.
Just two years later, Disney was left with nice new cars
that they just scrapped and now the track sits
overgrown with foliage....THE HORROR!!
