all the footage of van's and van shows are worth
the price of admission alone, which is basically
free as I believe this puppy is in the public domain

so famous for, I give Super-Van a hearty Two and
3/4 Palm Trees, the highest possible rating for
a B-movie, ya dig? Very Groovy!

Additional Notes - 4/23 - Just checked out the first couple tracks real quickly, sound quality is A grade audience capture, Micky's voice sounds fine, it's not stellar but enjoyable for Monkees fans I would say. T

I've never mentioned some of the Hiatt shows I
was blessed to be at, there was a back room at
the guitar shop McCabe's in Santa Monica and
John used to play solo acoustic shows there on
a fairly regular basis. I was privy to at least 3
I can remember, they included a lot of the
songs on this mix, enjoy the good ole stuff.

holy grail stuff from the '72 tour, there's a gazillion
versions of this out there, this one is just the 10
songs from Philadelphia that were being worked
on supposedly for a lost live album. A producer's
ear can clearly tell they were in beginning stages
of rough mixing on these, great stuff, 7daylink

Strange but cool song from a all-around strange album
it's not bad but basically a Nicks-Buckingham effort
with a lot of tension thrown in as well, this tune
salutes a legendary and iconic journalist. The song
only has Lindsay, Mick F, and John McVie but
is heavily produced with lots of overdubs and
a 90-second guitar solo at end with at least
4 guitar overdubs going....The Horror!!
