TONIO K 1980! - Revisiting "AMERIKA," Steve's Second Album, a horrific collection of 10 songs in quite a few different flavors and colors, his shortest in running time but also his most HORRIFIC!

Tonio K's 2nd album doesn't mess around, the songs
are urgent and the album changes pace more than
a few times as if to toy with you and keep you on
edge. Critically acclaimed and belongs in your
collection. Vinyl rip via You Tube below.

BEATLES 1969! - The Sheer & Utter Horror of THE BLACK ALBUM, in this case a 2-Lp VINYL BOOT put out in '81, it's yet another recycling of the January 1969 Let It Be sessions....THE HORROR!!

I love how this 1981 vinyl boot went to the elaborate
extreme by having not only a gatefold cover but
a poster too! But then you look at the label and
it's all jacked up. To make matters even more fun
not only have these sessions been recycled beyond
belief but this particular vinyl from the early 80's
had 2 lp and 3 lp versions, this is the 2lp, 7daylink
Isn’t it ironic that the low point in the Beatles’ career ended up being the best documented, especially in the realm of bootleg releases? We have enough material from January 1969 to keep us going for days or until we cannot take anymore, which is the case for most people who try to listen to this material en masse as they fail the “January Listening Challenge”.Amazing Kornyphone blog

This one washed up on my shore as a robot recommendation

starting with casting but as you know this ain't no editorial
type blog. Using my Palm Springs Rating System, I
give Stick and all his buddies a modest Two Palm Trees.

"Sounds like FAIRLY TWISTED LOGIC to me" - The Sheer Horror of the proprietor's music as we wheel out "Fairly Twisted Logic - 2012 Deluxe Edition" an extended version of my 2005 album with a whopping 28 tracks....THE HORROR!!

file comes with song list and liner notes, enjoy 7daylink
excerpt from notes -
"I honestly can't remember what ryme or reason I had in selecting the 11 songs that would make the 2005 release. I do remember that after looking at the list I knew I had to further conceptualize the set as I wanted a concept album of sorts so at the last minute I recorded 6 "segways" to insert here and there. These segways basically consisted of me reading out of an old book of philosophical quotes and then using some real tripped out effects on the voice and occasionally adding a beat or pattern in the background.
Within days of the album's independent release I received a phone call from a indie record company in Huntington Beach that wanted to re-release it and distribute. The following week another call came from a label in Arizona wanting to do the same thing. It was reviewed by several indie music websites and one review called it "a techno rock masterpiece." We put it up on CD Baby, Amazon , ITunes, etc and the digital mp3 version is still available at most of those sites. The CD versions are long sold out.
As for the other 11 songs that didn't make the album, some of them have been released here and there on later repackaging efforts and some are just seeing the light of day with this new edition. I am happy to say you have here the full representation of Fairly Twisted Logic with all 22 songs and 6 segways compiled in an order which I probably would have intended originally while still keeping the original order of the original release. I hope you enjoy it, I certainly had a lot of fun making it!"

BOOKER T & THE MG'S 1970! - Revisiting a little thing called "MCLEMORE AVENUE," a funky tribute to The Beatles Abbey Road album which had just come out. So why did Booker T have to do a tribute right there and then?....THE HORROR!!

Even though the record had just come out, Booker T
was so floored by The Beatles Abbey Road that he
immediately put the wheels in motion to get this
project off the ground. Most music fans would have
been sold on that alone, but then Booker T also
rearranged song orders with several big medleys
sometimes mixing side 1 songs with side 2
and the end result is one of the best tribute
albums of all time....The Horror!!
Great album, if you've never heard you will enjoy

This next exhibit is So Horrific we urge caution for those faint of heart - "SAFARI 3000" a 1982 drive-in with DAVID CARRADINE & STOCKARD CHANNING, it's Death Race 2000 Meets Africa and it IS....The Horror!!

Maybe if it had been made in '77 but by 1982 the whole
race genre thing had been milked to death and so why
don't we take it to Africa and try that. Everyone in this
is on auto-pilot, little to no chemistry between Carradine
and Channing, and don't even get me started on
Christopher Lee's part. The Sheer Horror...
