Brian Dierker is not an actor. His real forte is as a
marine coordinator and he's worked on several
known movies including The River Wild.
Sean Penn coaxed him and was adamant that 
he should be cast as the free-spirited Rainey
in Into The Wild. As usual Mr Penn knew
what he was doing and Brian's performance
is brilliantly understated, he's amazingly
relaxed in front of the camera, a natural.
We salute you sir!

Brian Dierker has spent more time rafting the Grand Canyon than any boatman ever has. From his first river trip in 1970 with Grand Canyon Youth to his current contract work with the government leading science trips to assess the ecological impact of Glen Canyon Dam, it's safe to say Dierker has seen it all.

RITUALS (aka Creeper)
In the world of drive-in/B movies there are many 
horrific creatures. This Canadian woodsy thriller
with Hal Holbrook is on many fan's top-ten lists.
While the story resembles Deliverance in the basic
sense, the story here is deeper and more interesting,
It's beautifully shot, has some great acting and is
in some ways is better than Deliverance.

THE DOBERMAN GANG/THE DARING DOBERMANS
Thanks to a really cool family called the Chudnow's
early 70's cinema was peppered with the highly
trained and alert dogs known as Dobie's. These 
first two flicks of the Dobie Gang are both fun
G-rated heist films. There was a third and final
one in the later 70's with Fred Estaire  called
The Amazing Dobermans but it wasn't as good
and is very hard to find. I got these first two on
an affordable 2 movie in 1 set..Good clean horror!!

BONNIE'S KIDS
Welcome to the big city kids.
Notice the orange RTD bus in background, the horror!
This is classic sexploitation with a great cast, easy story
 lots of cool 70's locations LA and out here in the Desert.
Very hard to find, I paid 30 for the dvd I have in the
collection. There's a You Tube up below, pretty
sure this one's in the public domain, great fun!

George S Clinton's soundtrack to the sexy thriller
Wild Things is probably the best thing that flick
had going for it. Still trying to figure out why there
was a Wild Things 2 when the first one should
have never been made but anyways this is a really
cool fan edit who took various snippets of the
soundtrack to comprise this 14 minute 
instrumental "suite." Pretty horrific stuff.
