FRANK ZAPPA PARTY! Here's a nice horrific oddity called "E Music Showcase Volume II" a homemade deal from obscure live tracks I got off a free subscription in 2004, it's all very Horrific as Zappa Jams "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN"!!

I thought this would be an interesting one to post, it has
4 very long songs from various locations and years
no info, two are from '88, excellent sound, I believe
the four songs are City Of Tiny Lites, Rdnzl, Black 
Page and Stairway To Heaven....enjoy!

mixed in with the other posts this weekend I'll be lifting
up with honor the great music of Frank Zappa. 
As usual, it's not meant to be any comprehensive
serious deal, just a celebration, that's what we do 
here, we lift up all things HORRIFIC, have a good one!
enjoy this first show, Switzerland 1980, a classic must-have
it's a very good to excellent soundboard, the performance
is off the hook though, amazing set list, parts 1 2

Revisiting "ALONG THE RED LEDGE" HALL & OATES 1978 album as they were just on the brink of Stardom it's very much the Black Sheep Album of their catalog but one that Should Not Be Ignored, THE HORROR!! (Reco)

All that for only $5 a year? I'm in! Wonder why I never got
anything back...but hey there sports fans this is one H2O
album that should not go overlooked, here's an Amazon
link to a slew of formats. There's even a used copy of
the red vinyl version for only $10, cool beans.
IT'S A LAUGH - great Daryl Hall tune.
I DON'T WANNA LOSE YOU - this is quite simply
H2O at their very best, this was a hit from the start.
DON'T BLAME IT ON LOVE - H2O does arena rock?!
Is this song way too heavy?
SERIOUS MUSIC - another great John Oates inclusion,
there's not enough of his songs on their albums.

J GEILS BAND 1972! got one here from the State of Maine how horrific is that? Majorly classic JOE MALONEY recording of a band just rising up to success and a band that I must say I never quite understood, The Horror!!

I always kinda thought this guy was from outer space.

Revisiting "8 MM" - is there a reason we would want to? one sure way to turn off audiences is to make a film about underground porn but does that mean all the Great Acting Performances Are Thrown Out The Window?? WE THINK NOT!!

Once you're able (if you are) to get around the subject
matter and Nicolas Cage and Joaquin Phoenix then you
should be able to notice that not only is this an excellently
directed film by Joel Schumacher but also the supporting
acting performances are quite stellar, thumbs up!
Peter Stormare, a great Swedish actor whose name is
not mentioned in film conversation nearly enough!
Might just be the all-time greatest James Gandofini
performance. Not for the faint of heart but somehow
the role brought out all that bad-ass-ness in him.

around this corner Great Scot! It's those Scottish Funky Brothers the AVERAGE WHITE BAND with 6 rare tunes, some live stuff, an unreleased rough mix and 3 tunes from 2000 in Chicago, cool stuff and approved by the band, THE HORROR!!

got these in about '04 right off their website and I 
think they might still be there, but here's the file, Awb!

hey lookit EARTH QUAKE is "Rocking The World" in this 70's Vinyl Rip of their only LIVE ALBUM released in 1975 they do the bar band thing with their own songs and covers of Route 66 and Friday On My Mind, COOL STUFF!!
