JACK NICHOLSON TRIBUTE Just Getting Warmed Up! - So get yer motor runnin,' ya dig as we take you back to 1967 with a little thing called "HELL'S ANGELS ON WHEELS," ya dig me? Groovy Baby JUST Groovy

Ole Jackie boy had several films under his belt when
he did this. He hadn't broke out yet but was real
close, I've always seen this flick as one of those
where all the parts just seem to fall in place,
they had a little movie magic thing there, and
in my opinion by far the best of the many
and I do mean many biker b-flicks. Using my
Palm Springs Rating System I give this oldie
but goodie Two & 3/4 Palm Trees, the highest
possible rating for a b-flick....The Horror!!
The Horror!!

FRIED EGG DAY NITE HORRIFIC COVER SONGS! - JOHN KAY & STEPPENWOLF Cover ARGENT's "Hold Your Head Up," in a track that came out in 1982 on vinyl, first time a DAT was ever used to record an album....THE HORROR!!

really tasty vinyl rip from the above, interesting version
they do of the classic Argent tune....The Horror!!

FRIED EGG DAY NITE HORRIFIC COVER VERSIONS! - PATTI SMITH covers GRACE SLICK / AIRPLANE with a stupendous cover version of WHITE RABBIT, it's transcendental, it's....THE HORROR!!

Tarot card I designed in 2010 for an all rock n roll deck.
This was the last of 12 I did before having to abandon
the project. and below is her kill version of White
Rabbit, if you've never heard it, get ready to enjoy;-)
The Horror!!

FRIED EGG DAY NITE HORRIFIC COVER VERSIONS! - The Sheer Horror of LIVING COLOUR doing a version of TALKING HEADS "Memories Can't Wait" at twice the speed, does it work or is it....THE HORROR!!

I had the fortune of seeing these guys open up for The
Stones at Steel Wheels show in Oakland '89 and I
distinctly remember them kicking major ass
and winning over the crowd right from song one,
anyways dig this cover where they literally
double the time on it, twice as fast.
The Horror!!

JACK NICHOLSON TRIBUTE Begins! - Greetings All, Lots O Horrors All Weekend as we kick off the Jack Nicholson Tribute with 1995's "THE CROSSING GUARD," written and directed by one of his real life friends SEAN PENN....The Horror!!

This one's going to be fun! Holiday weekend with the greatest
American movie star ever in an outstanding film which
belongs on the top 5 if not top 3 Jack performances.
Sean Penn has proved on more than one occasion
that he's just as brilliant on the other side of the
camera. Throw in the always great David Morse,
Angelica Huston and believe it or not Robbie
Robertson and you've got one incredible flick
here. Four solid Palm Trees here....The Horror!!
One of our oldest exhibits,
it's the Korean Guy That Loves His Food....The Horror!!

SPARKS 2000! - Revisiting a little album called "BALLS" the sheer horror of the brother's pop-rock-synth album, it's a very simple premise, basically to succeed all you need is BALLS, ya dig? The Horror!!

For hardcore fans of Sparks, this album usually falls into
a love-it or hate-it, however it wasn't received well
by either fans or public when it came out. It's grown
more of a fanbase as the years roll by and hard to
believe it's 15 years old....The Horror!!
The Horror!!

JETHRO TULL 1970! - So what do you get when you take Aqualung and cross it with Thick As A Brick? Why "AQUA-BRICK" of course, an oddity compiled from 4 different 1970 shows and basically having nothing to do with either Aqua or Brick....THE HORROR!!

An Italian cd boot way old skool, came out in '93
compiled from 4 '70 shows, long before either
Aqua or Brick was released, have to file this
one under unsolved mysteries, 7daylink onemp3@256
The Horror!!

LED ZEPPELIN 1971! - Wheeling out the ole "Previews & Novelties" as it were, the sheer and utter horror of this old skool cd boot from the COPENHAGEN 1971 show, ya dig me? Groovy baby, groovy horrors...

it's a goody, 7daylink Rating A+

JACKSON BROWNE 2004! - "Beacon Theater 2004 Celebration" as Jackson holds a special concert the night after receiving induction to Hall of Fame, Greetings One & All, Take a seat in the first car and NO STANDING PLEASE!!

pretty cool 2-cdr thing i got in a trade long time back
set list, 7daylink Rating A+
TAPER'S NOTES - The band: Kevin McCormick - bass Mark Goldenberg - guitars Val McCallum - guitars Mauricio "Fritz" Lewak - drums and percussion Jeff Young - keyboards, background vocals Katherine Russell - background vocals Notes: The night after his induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Jackson Browne staged a celebration concert at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Despite being in the middle of a solo acoustic tour, Jackson rounded up his band (backup siner Katherine Russell flew in from touring with David Bowie in Hong Kong just for this show!), and an impressive cast of guests. Among the special guests were former band members Vonda Shepard, Scott Thurston (currently with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers) and Danny Kortchmar, as well as Marc Cohn and Bruce Springsteen, who inducted Jackson the night before. This recording was compiled from two different sources to ensure the best possible release. I doubt you'll notice the transitions from one source to another.
The Puppy's Horror!!

Run for your lives, it's "THE THING WITH TWO HEADS"! - 1972 Drive-In Horror flick is one of the all-time classics in it's genre, the genre being movies that have humans with two heads, of which there are only two....THE HORROR!!

Oh no, he didn't! Yep, you know this one's a hand-
in-glove fit for the House of Horrors and one of the
first titles I acquired when starting my B-movie
collection a couple years back. Classic to the year
it was made in, this one has it all including comedy,
as you just can't help but laugh at some of the
outrageous places this film goes. Using my
Palm Springs Rating System, this turkey gets
the coveted Ugliest Palm Tree In The World
award....The Horror!!
