DAVID KRUMHOLTZ IS "LOOKING FOR KITTY"! - EDWARD BURNS TRIBUTE ROCKS ON WITH HORROR

Looking For Kitty is not only Burns' shortest film running
time wise but also his most overlooked by a mile.
What makes this one special is the chemistry and
performances of Krumholtz and Burns. They're great
together and Krumholtz is in the zone, it's a simple
story about a guy who hires a PI to help him find
his estranged wife but also wants to work side by
side with Burns while they search. Give this one a
chance, it's 75 minutes of comedy and sweetness.

Review: ‘Looking for Kitty’

Prolific writer-director Edward Burns' "Looking for Kitty" represents a return of sorts to the pared-down, low-budget roots of his debut, "The Brothers McMullan." Mellow chronicle of the friendship between two lonely men thrown together on a mission is still naggingly thin and unlikely to withstand much theatrical scrutiny.

Looking for Kitty - Review - Movies

The loss of two women sparks an unlikely bond between strangers in "Looking for Kitty," the writer-director-actor Edward Burns's latest exercise in maleness. Abe (David Krumholtz, who is first-rate), an impossibly rigid but kindhearted high school baseball coach from upstate, travels to Manhattan in search of his wife, who may or may not be shacking up with a geeky rock star.

FROM THE BLACK CROWES ARCHIVES! - RAMS HEAD 2009 - WHAT DID CHRIS SMOKE BEFORE SHOW!

I have posted this show before but in case you missed it, it's the infamous "What did Chris smoke before the
show" show, a one-of-a-kind Crowes show about a week into the BTF tour at Rams Head Baltimore.
Usually we're lucky to get a couple "nice to see ya'll tonight"s but on this show he talks between most of the songs, asking the crowd to repeat certain phrases about who knows what. That, combined with a really nice set list with a rare show of Title Song make this one a must, set list, link EX Aud A low bit rate....The Horror!!

THE HORROR THAT IS THE "CANNED HEAT CHRISTMAS ALBUM"! - 2007 SET SORTED HORRORS!!

So do ya have the Christmas spirit yet? Well, do ya?!
out of print and hard to find cd 7daylink A+
Original Notes - Canned Heat first recorded a Christmas single in 1968 as a novelty follow-up to their signature hit "On The Road Again". One side was an unlikely pairing with 'The Chipmunks' (the speeded-up voice of Liberty Records' Ross Bagdasarian), the other an impromptu studio blues, "Christmas Blues".
Both are here along with two other versions of "Christmas Blues", one from an unspecified date with Dr John, the other - featuring John Popper from Blues Traveler on vocals & harmonica and Eric Clapton on guitar - from a 1998 Special Olympics Charity Concert in Washington, DC.
To complete this seasonal package the rest of these tracks were recorded in 2006 by the current Canned Heat line-up along with an old friend, blind keyboard player Jay Spell.

EDWARD BURNS TRIBUTE KICKS OFF WITH '15 MINUTES'! - CELEBRATING THE ACTOR & FILMMAKER

He embodies and personifies everything New York.
He writes, he produces, he directs, he acts.
His romantic comedies are simple and sweet
with a real great vibe - sincere and honest.
He follows a proven film business model-
Make the big bucks acting and then pour
the money into the films you really want to
make. This weekend I'll be posting about a few
of these great romantic comedies but let's
start off with a sleazy piece of trash called
"15 Minutes" where Ed plays a fire commander
who ends up teaming up with a detective
played by Robert Dinero. I have owned
this film for the almost 15 years it's been around
but I rarely pull it off the shelf, a bit over
the top in some parts, especially the third act.

15 Minutes Movie Review & Film Summary (2001) | Roger Ebert

I want to know if you think this is possible. Two creeps videotape themselves committing murder, and then attempt to sell the video to a reality news show for $1 million. They plan to beat the murder charges with an insanity plea, adding that they were abused as children.

FILM REVIEW; Fanning the Flames of Fame, and Basking in the Glow

The movie ''15 Minutes'' asks the question: is there a line between cynicism and nihilism? This morbid thriller is a cross between Billy Wilder's ''Big Carnival'' (which dug a fresh, new grave for media jackals and the exploitation they shovel) and ''The French Connection.'' It's fleet-footed, merciless entertainment.

Independent Ed: The New Book from Edward Burns

At the age of twenty-five, Ed Burns directed and produced his first film on a tiny $25,000 budget. The Brothers McMullen went on to win the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 1995, and established the working-class Irish American filmmaker as a talent to watch.

THE HORROR THAT IS 'THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY CHRISTMAS CARD'! - 1971 4TH VINYL ALBUM YA DIG

Although most people these days have never heard of
this album, it was one of the first band Xmas albums
to make it big and set a standard for the many that
followed. Best selling Xmas album in '71, it
also bears the unique distinction of having one
of the only Shirley Jones lead vocal tunes on
"The Christmas Song," and with that my fellow
comrades the holiday season has officially
started here at the House...Sheer & Utter Horror.

A Partridge Family Christmas Card

A Partridge Family Christmas Card was originally released as a vinyl album of Christmas music in 1971. The case of the album contains a reproduction of a Christmas card that was signed by the whole Partridge Family, the stars of a 1970s sitcom.

ACTOR'S SHOWCASE! - HIS NAME IS MARJOE GORTNER ONE OF THE STRANGEST ACTORS TO EVER

COME DOWN THE PIKE!
This dude's backstory is more whack than some of the
movies he's been in. In fact, before he starred in his
now legendary 70's flicks, he had already had a movie
made about his life! (See "Marjoe" below) Brainwashed
by his parents, he became the world's first 4 year old
evangelist preacher. Watching the footage is truly,
well you guessed it- horrific. Nonetheless, he's got
a great face and is a total character, someone was
bound to discover him and his contribution to
those films is outstanding. We salute you sir!
The Sheer Horror!
Even more bizarre-  no clips on You Tube of his 70's acting
stuff, very bizarre indeed...

Marjoe Gortner, Actor: Starcrash. In his early career as the 4-year-old "World's Youngest Ordained Minister," Hugh Marjoe Ross Gortner became a 'Miracle Child' extraordinaire. Preaching gospel from memory and performing faith healings, he drew capacity crowds as he barnstormed throughout the Bible Belt.
