There are two stars in this movie - Jack and the movie-
maker Hal Ashby who brought the studio an original
three and a half hour cut with hundreds of expletives.
A huge war ensued and Columbia finally put it out
a year later with the cut we've come to know.
Part road movie and part redemption tale,
I never tire of this classic. Five Palm Trees.

JACK JACK WE LOVE YA JACK! - Jack Nicholson Tribute rocks on with 2003's "Somethings Gotta Give," a chick flick for sures with an outstanding script and cast amd that's even including Keanu Reeves....THE HORROR!!
Great flick, my only complaint being it could have used
about 15-20 minutes shaved off, kinda drags at end.

FRANK ZAPPA 1980! - "Santa Monica Civic 1980" might be an apt title for this tour and year ending show at the Civic with a very generous and diverse set list, Horrific Labor Day TO YA....The Horror!!
I haven't listened to this in a long time but if I remember
correctly this has the entire late show with about
5 or 6 tracks from the early show, an audience
capture with a good mic but a tad distant,

JACK NICHOLSON TRIBUTE Rocks On! - 1983's Best Picture Winner "TERMS OF ENDEARMENT" was nominated for 11 and brought home 5 including ole Jack boy for his performance as the charismatic next-door bachelor....THE HORROR!!

Debra Winger's performance is off-the-chart,
truly one of the best in all of cinema.

JACK NICHOLSON TRIBUTE! - Swings Into High Gear with a pick from 2001 called "THE PLEDGE," Jack teams up once again with SEAN PENN behind the camera in this intense crime drama about a detective about to retire until....THE HORROR!!
Another great one with Sean Penn on the camera, the film
most likely hasn't got the attention it deserved due to the
plot being about a murdered young girl, if you can get
around that this is a great film, aces across the board
in all departments especially acting and cinematography.
