Revisiting a little something called "LEON LIVE" a mind-blowing 3-vinyl record set of LEON RUSSELL performing at the Long Beach Arena in 1972, there's SO many tunes on this thing, I don't think anyone can approach it's statistical density, ya dig me?
A horrific one indeed, lots of great material,
Leon at his peak, strangely enough it's an
official live album but the sound is sub-par,
sounds like some mics were placed on
stage and that's it. Dig his Jumping Jack Flash
and Youngblood medley which takes up
all of side 5.

Always been a big fan of this one since Ed and
I used to go see it as kids in the theaters in
Hollywood. I'm "thankful" for growing up
where I did with such great art everywhere,
A terrific actor by name of Andy Robinson gives
a kill performance as the doomed accomplice.

STONES SUNDAY! this horrific exhibit goes by the name "UNRELEASED DECCA LIVE ALBUM" which is choice stuff from '72 Tour but NOT the unreleased live album just a bootleg that calls itself the unreleased album, Is Any Of This Making Any SENSE?!
From what I understand a bootleg called "Get Your
Motor Runnin'" which I've posted in the past is very
close to what would have been released and the
real unreleased Decca has never been liberated.
